Redes is a Mexican film, released in 1936, about a fishing community. The English language title is The Wave, although the Spanish language title refers to (fishing) nets.
The directors were Emilio Gómez Muriel and Fred Zinneman. Silvestre Revueltas wrote the score. Revueltas' music is also performed in versions for the concert hall.[1]
